By using ResumeShortlisted, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. These terms govern your use of our AI-powered resume builder and free ATS Resume Checker at resumeshortlisted.com.

1. About the Service

ResumeShortlisted is an AI-powered resume building platform. It helps you create, optimise, and download professional resumes, and includes a free ATS Resume Checker that estimates how well an existing resume will work with applicant tracking systems. The service is provided by ResumeShortlisted and is available at resumeshortlisted.com.

No account or registration is required to use the service. You can begin building a resume immediately.

2. Plans & Pricing

Free Plan

The Free plan allows you to build a resume and download it in the Minimal template at no cost. Free downloads include a small watermark. Your resume is kept in your browser and cleared when you close the tab.

Pro Plan (one-time)

The Pro plan grants access to all 6 resume templates, watermark-free PDF downloads, AI ATS analysis, and a set number of AI credits. Payment is a one-time charge at the time of download. Your access lasts 24 hours, during which you can also get an edit link by email to return to your resume.

AI Premium Plan (one-time)

The AI Premium plan includes everything in Pro, plus AI writing features (bullet and project rewriting, summary generation, skill suggestions, AI resume tips) and a larger set number of AI credits. Payment is a one-time charge at the time of download. Your access, including the optional edit link, lasts 36 hours.

AI Credits & Top-ups

Each AI request uses one credit from your resume's allowance. Your plan's allowance is shown in the app. If you run out, you can buy a credit top-up: top-ups bought before your first download are added to that checkout; top-ups bought after are charged immediately. Credits belong to the resume they were bought for and expire with it.

“Fix my resume” (one-time)

On our ATS Resume Checker, “Fix my resume” uses AI to rewrite the resume you pasted — tailored to a job description if you provide one. You see a free preview before paying. A one-time payment unlocks the full rewritten resume and the AI Premium plan for that resume, so you can edit it in our builder and download a watermark-free PDF without paying again. The fixed resume is available to unlock and open for 24 hours after it is created; once opened, it is kept in your browser as described in our Privacy Policy.

The exact price of each plan, top-up, and “Fix my resume” is shown before you pay.

3. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. By completing a payment, you authorise us to charge the applicable amount through Razorpay.

For plans, you are only charged at the time of download — not when you start building. You can build your resume on any plan and only pay when you are ready to download. “Fix my resume” is charged when you choose to unlock it, after you have seen the free preview. Top-ups bought after your first download are charged when you buy them.

4. Refund Policy

Because our products are digital and delivered immediately upon payment, we generally do not offer refunds once a PDF has been downloaded, a “Fix my resume” result has been unlocked, or AI credits have been used. However, if a technical issue prevents you from receiving what you paid for, please contact us within 24 hours and we will make it right. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.

5. AI-Generated Content

ResumeShortlisted uses AI to generate or improve resume content including summaries, bullet points, and skill suggestions. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content — including a "Fix my resume" rewrite — is a suggestion and should be reviewed and edited by you before use
• AI-written content may include placeholders (such as [X%]) for details only you know; you must replace them with accurate information
• We do not guarantee that AI suggestions, or the free ATS score, will result in job interviews or employment
• You are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the final content in your resume
• The free ATS score is an estimate, not a guarantee of how any particular applicant tracking system will treat your resume
• AI features in the builder require a paid plan (AI ATS analysis on Pro or AI Premium; AI writing features on AI Premium)

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ResumeShortlisted only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the service to create fraudulent or misleading resumes
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform
• Circumvent or abuse the payment system
• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates third-party rights

7. Intellectual Property

The content you enter — your personal information, work history, and other resume details — remains yours. You retain full ownership of your resume.

The ResumeShortlisted platform, its design, codebase, templates, and brand assets are owned by ResumeShortlisted. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

Downloaded resumes are for your personal use. You may distribute your own resume freely.

8. Edit Links

On a paid plan, you can request a temporary edit link by email that lets you return to your resume within your access period (24 hours for Pro, 36 hours for AI Premium). After this period, the link expires and your resume data is cleared. You are responsible for downloading your resume before then.

We are not liable for data loss due to session expiry or browser data being cleared.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

ResumeShortlisted is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• AI suggestions will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your needs
• Your resume will result in job interviews or employment outcomes

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ResumeShortlisted and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data or loss of employment opportunities.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for your current plan.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of this service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Indian courts.
