By using ResumeShortlisted, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. These terms govern your use of our AI-powered resume builder at resumeshortlisted.com.

1. About the Service

ResumeShortlisted is an AI-powered resume building platform. It helps you create, optimise, and download professional resumes. The service is provided by ResumeShortlisted and is available at resumeshortlisted.com.

No account or registration is required to use the service. You can begin building a resume immediately.

2. Plans & Pricing

Free Plan

The Free plan allows you to build a resume and download it in the Minimal template at no cost. Resume data is stored in your browser's sessionStorage and cleared when you close the tab.

Pro Plan — ₹49 (one-time)

The Pro plan grants access to all 6 resume templates and ATS scoring. Payment is a one-time charge of ₹49 at the time of download. You receive a session link valid for 24 hours to return and edit your resume.

AI Premium Plan — ₹99 (one-time)

The AI Premium plan includes everything in Pro, plus unlimited AI-powered features (bullet rewriting, summary generation, skill suggestions, AI career tips). Payment is a one-time charge of ₹99 at the time of download. You receive a session link valid for 72 hours.

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.

3. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and wallets. By completing a payment, you authorise us to charge the applicable amount through Razorpay.

You are only charged at the time of download — not when you start building. You can build your resume on any plan and only pay when you are ready to download.

4. Refund Policy

Because our product is a digital download delivered immediately upon payment, we generally do not offer refunds once a PDF has been downloaded. However, if you experience a technical issue that prevents you from downloading your resume, please contact us within 24 hours and we will make it right.

To request a refund, email us at support@resumeshortlisted.com with your payment reference number.

5. AI-Generated Content

ResumeShortlisted uses AI to generate or improve resume content including summaries, bullet points, and skill suggestions. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content is a suggestion and should be reviewed and edited by you before use
• We do not guarantee that AI suggestions will result in job interviews or employment
• You are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the final content in your resume
• AI features require a valid paid plan (Pro or AI Premium)

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ResumeShortlisted only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the service to create fraudulent or misleading resumes
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform
• Circumvent or abuse the payment system
• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates third-party rights

7. Intellectual Property

The content you enter — your personal information, work history, and other resume details — remains yours. You retain full ownership of your resume.

The ResumeShortlisted platform, its design, codebase, templates, and brand assets are owned by ResumeShortlisted. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

Downloaded resumes are for your personal use. You may distribute your own resume freely.

8. Session Links

Paid plans include a temporary session link that allows you to return to your resume for editing within the validity period (24 hours for Pro, 72 hours for AI Premium). After this period, the session expires and the resume data is cleared. You are responsible for downloading your resume before the session expires.

We are not liable for data loss due to session expiry or browser data being cleared.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

ResumeShortlisted is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• AI suggestions will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your needs
• Your resume will result in job interviews or employment outcomes

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ResumeShortlisted and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data or loss of employment opportunities.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for your current plan.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of this service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Indian courts.
